Nurse Katherine walked into the room and saw a middle-aged female patient. Her fidgeting indicated that she was nervous.
The nurse smiled and said, "That is completely normal before a blood test."
She reassured the patient, explaining that it would be quick and almost painless.
"Can you squeeze your fist for me, please? You'll just feel a small pinch," she said as she inserted the needle and collected the blood sample.
In the end, she disposed of the used materials, and the patient sighed in relief and said, "It wasn't that bad.”
